Here's a piece of Ash Veneer left over from a job.
Tightest, straightest grain I've EVER seem in Ash: nine-to 12 growth rings per inch.
9% moisture content on my meter.
About 20 years old.
Available as ONE PIECE from an eleven-piece sequential flitch.
Measures 7" wide on one end and 7 1/2" wide on the other. 110" long, full flitch length with waney edges.
Stored pressed flat, NOT rolled.
Any edgework, cutting or vacuum pressing you might want on this piece will cost extra but is available.
Besause this stuff is from such a dense tree, it goes into compound curvature very well.
Please also click the "me" button to see the terms of sale for this item. By bidding, you are agreeing to abide by those terms and you also acknowledge you are dealing with a seller who is an easily amused and distracted, doped-up, brain-damaged, Viet Nam War Era Veteran Retard. HAH!
Maybe I will soon publish details there, regarding my recent industrial accident, with recent body and brain breakage. HAH! But I'm SERIOUS! I'll try to make that narration not gorry and humorous, should I do that. That also reminds me to disclose to you, that you're now dealing with a doper, should you be brave enough to bid. Hah again! If you'll check my feedback, you'll see I haven'y had much lately, due to being 90% mentally and at best 60% physically disabled during my recovery.
It worked out well how PayPal refunded monies to buyers for me while I was physically unable to ship and mentally unable to deal with it. I'm now 80% physically and 50% mentally ABLE, but I was previously too smart for my own good, anyway.
Please try to enjoy this shopping experience. I will. It's funny how I never really appreciated my left arm and brain until I had neither.
Please consider checking out my eBay Store for many current and coming new listings. I have a giant backlog of really good stuff from my woodworking clients, who have been really kind to me and typically have really nice posessions needing recycling.
You may come to my ChannelSide address, 204 North 12th Street, Tampa, FL 33602, for any pickups. We'll coordinate by cel on the day you're coming, since the massive Residential Lofts, Retail and Business high-rise development there causes massive dustiness and dirt, road closures and traffic snarls which change daily.
There will also almost always be something else for you to do while here in the Channelside, day or night, including The Florida Aquarium, art shows, live music, restaurants, bay cruises, cruise ships, clubs, movies and shopping. All within walking distance. Plus Ybor City is just a Trolley ride away.
Keep an eye out for more lumber listings, I might thin out my leftovers some by listing 'em on eBay.
Weighs 2lbs on my scale, please allow 10lbsto ship, if I pack it well.
Shipping too much? Please do NOT bid and thanks!
I do not try to compete with shipping prices of new ones, so bid accordingly and check shipping prices before bidding, please.
You may return this item if you find it not to your liking, but I cannot refund shipping charges and any return shipping charges will be on you.
I will refund your money only if you notify me promptly you are returning it and it is received in the same condition as when I shipped it to you.
I reserve the right to substitute FedEx for UPS.
No fees of any kind for local pickups, but the item must be prepaid and picked up within 10 days of auction end. Pickups by appointment only. If you cannot be flexible with your pickup time, please do not bid
It might take me as much as seven days to ship, AFTER you pay. I'm moving slowly these days. If this is not acceptable to you, please do not bid.
Please do not expect prompt shipping, unless you have emailed your specific question, since I have also just relocated my business to Channelside, here in Tampa. I am still quite disorganized. Even more than usual.
You may return this item to me, if promptly and by notification, if there is any mistake or oversight I have made in the description.
I no longer accept eBay items from the general public, only my woodworking clients.
Any questions, please ask.
Thanks!
Happy Bidding!
