The 1920, and 1930 saw the introduction of machine made, mass produced colored and transparent, inexpensive glassware we call Depression Glass
The term Depression Glass, did not not make its debut until 1970 when it then became the collector's term. It appeared first in the Antique Trading Publication in 1969. Some of the glassware was sold sparingly at house sales and flea markets in the 1960s and 1970s. A tumbler worth ten cents in 1925 can be worth $150. today. How we collectors wish we could have snatched this up!
