foam core for protection and shipped flat (not rolled) to preserve the integrity of the print. If you do want it rolled up, to combine shipping with other items, for example, let us know. The merchandise featured here is from the official website of the Me 262 project. Those involved with the project and the site feel that
it is entirely appropriate to acknowledge the stunning achievements
of the German air arm during the Second World War, but have absolutely
no political sympathies for the National Socialist regime, nor for any
modern counterparts.About the Me 262 Project: several Messerschmitt 262 jets -- the first jet airplanes used in warfare -- are now built or under construction in the United States!!
This incredible project is the result
of a decade of privately-administered effort to create flight worthy
examples of the Messerschmitt 262 fighter, and has now entered its
final stages. The Seattle-based team of
expert designers, engineers and technicians has worked hard to create these aircraft which are accurate enough to bear consecutive serial numbers from those manufactured at the end of the war. The project has received various coverage television and in magazines, including the November 2006 issue of Smithsonian Air & Space.
