ACADEMIC NUDE DRAWING SKETCH BIG 2SIDES FRENCH XIXC 1

Large 24.5 inches x 19 inches purchesed in a lot of antique drawings from L'Ecole des Beaux Arts Lye Clermont Ferrand. Academic nude drawing sketch done on watermarked paper at the school by one of the students in the class. This is called a double-sided drawing. You get ONE sheet of paper with a different drawing on each side. A class in figure drawing traditionally uses live models as well as statues and other classic forms. Unsigned, undated, and yes this means our word for it, and the work's word speaking for itself. All the drawings in the lot are at least 100 years old, and some are older. Signs of age, including but not limited to wear around the edges of the drawing, browning and toning of the paper, folds here and there, edge crumbling, thumb tack holes in the corners. In good condition and the condition is exactly as shown in the photos below. Please ask any questions before you buy; we're happy to help.

CONDITION: By "antique " we mean over 100 years of age. By "vintage"we mean between 50 and 100 years of age. This item is made of matter and it is OLD; it is NOT new. There are signs of age and usage, including but not limited to minor browning, toning and foxing of the pages, surface wear and folds. The condition is generally good overall, there isn't anything obviously functionally wrong with it, and the condition is exactly as shown in the photos; please look at all the photos carefully and read this description carefully. There may be signs of age and usage that we missed because we aren't specifically trained to see them. This has not been examined microscopically. We have not taken this apart or put it back together, we've not subtracted anything from it nor added anything to it that was not already there when we got it.
