We are offering for auction another original antique drawing by Mary G. Armstrong dated 1914. This drawing is of a young woman feeding her cockatoo. Not sure whether she ever became well known, but we have sold a few of her pieces in our Art Gallery department in the store. This drawing has been painted. I'm not sure if it is water color or not. It is framed behind glass in an oak frame. Nails hold the cardboard backing in and they are quite rusted. It measures 15 1/2 inches by 13 1/2 inches. It is in nice antique condition. There is some discoloring and loss of paint from age but would still display nicely!
We offer a discount on shipping combined purchases that are going to the same address in one shipment. We will be happy to quote you the shipping cost on a combined shipment. Just email us your request, telling us which items you wish combined.

Personal checks may be held until they clear the bank before shipment is made. Credit cards are accepted through PayPal.
We ship only once a week on Tuesdays, except when Tuesday falls on a holiday, in which case we would ship the following day. Items for which we have received payment by midnight on Sunday will ship on the following Tuesday. Shipping will be via your choice of the following options where offered: USPS Parcel Post; USPS First Class (for packages weighing less than 13 ounces only, including their packaging); USPS Priority Mail; Media Mail (for media (books, albums, cds, magazines) only!); USPS First Class International (items weighing less than 4 pounds with their packaging materials); USPS Priority International for items over 4 pounds, when offered. We will occasionally offer UPS delivery when it is less expensive to use. When items state PICKUP ONLY, we do not ship them. If you wish to make arrangements to have them shipped at your own expense, please email us BEFORE bidding on the item. If you live in the vicinity of Victoria, Virginia and would like to pick up any item, email us before making payment so we can adjust the invoice to reflect this choice. Most of our items are set to "Calculate" shipping charges according to the service you choose. If an item is not set to calculate, please email us and we will quote the shipping fees. Our shipping fees include $1.00 to $2.00 handling charge domestically and $2.00 Internationally to offset the costs of packaging materials. All International customs charges, taxes, and duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
Insurance is optional on most items. Although we do all that is possible in packaging your item to prevent breakage, we advise you to take advantage of the insurance offered by the shipping agency selected to guard against any losses from breakage or lost packages. On some high ticket items, we may require shipping insurance be purchased for the items. If the item says insurance is not offered for this item, please email us before bidding on the item, as a mistake was made at the time of the listing. We do not refund for items lost or damaged during transit.
