  • This is a very Rare Item. It is Framed and Stickered on the back with the shield of Haley & Steele Art Dealers, 91 Newbury St, Boston, Mass.
  • It is an etching of Faneuil Hall called Cradle of Liberty, Has horse drawn wagons in front of the Hall.
  • The etching was done by an artist, Trained by Newton Highlands Artist School in the 1st half 1900's. He was John Hudson Elwell.
  • It is believed that he was commissioned by Boston to do etchings of many of their buildings and events in the early 1900's. This is one of the etchings.
  • This one has actually some color to it.
  • It is in a frame 11" by 11-3/4".
  • It is also, my understanding that it has been awhile since one of his etchings has been auctioned off on Ebay.
  • I have a total of 3 etchings I am putting on Ebay. Check them out. One is initial by The Artist.
  • Buyer pays 7.95 S&H.
