FRENCH WATERCOLOR PAINTING 1 SIDE HOLLY BERRY 1 SIDE PANSY
Well executed ORIGINAL French botanical watercolor painting, on heavy watercolor paper, unsigned and circa 1900. 9.75 inches x 7.25 inches. A selection from our collection of antique drawings, paintings, sketches, renderings and engravings for sale in our stores. On the recto is a sprig of holly with berries, and on the verso, a purple and yellow pansy, with tentative pencil marks for the rest of the composition. You could cut the paper and have two paintings. Signs of age and usage, including but not limited to a little wear at the edges of the paintings and some aging of the paper. Good condition and exactly as shown in the photos below.
