Blackfoot Indian. The topknot designates the position of the man in the tribe -- in this case he is a tobacco pouch carrier.
This is an original work, hand-drawn in pastel, on acid free paper. Framed size is 17.5 inches wide by 21 inches high; there are no reproductions. Conservation framed with all acid-free materials. It is signed "the Porter family" and has the artists' logo and individual artwork identification number, all at the lower right of the drawing.
Due to losses during photo processing, there is much more detail and slightly different color in the work than this photo shows. It is in excellent condition with absolutely no damage and comes with the artists' certificate of originality.
