Postal Insurance is available upon request and recommended for fragile items. Although I pack items very well, once they leave my control, I will not be responsible for loss or damage that occurs while the parcel is in the system. If you did not purchase insurance with your auction, I WILL NOT ACCEPT IT AS A RETURN. It is the buyer's responsibility to go through the postal service if the insured package is damaged in-route. The items I list come from various sources. I purchase what I like and from where I find the items. Some of the items are family heirlooms looking for TLC and new homes. Some have come from estate clean outs that I have done to keep great stuff from the land fill, auctions where I got carried away, garage sales that I just couldn't resist, and sometimes even a few things that I've been asked to sell for other folks. I attempt to describe items accurately to the best of my ability with photos and text. Also, I will clean off the surface dirt but I usually won't attempt to fix things that I'm not sure about fixing and I won't assure that items are spotless when sold. Remember that this is, for the most part, old stuff which has been used and been the object of a variety of emotions.

The condition description is my best observation of the item.

To be as fair as I possibly can be, I urge prospective buyers to email me with any questions before bidding. Also, I will guarantee all purchases to be as described. And will refund any returned items the purchase price if buyer is not satisfied. I do apologize that I am unable to refund shipping charges. I prefer to ship by Priority Mail but if the buyer prefers another method, they must let me know and actual shipping charges plus a small packaging fee is charged. I do combine items whenever possible to help buyers save on shipping. Some larger items or certain specific items are not practical to combine. I will try to determine that at time of listing.

In Other Words

I do not know if an item is from a "smoke free", "pet free", "child free" or a hermetically sealed environment, but my guess is that that it may have been exposed to any or all of the above. But, the good news is, I will not charge extra for dust, pet hair, odor, or fingerprints. I will try to clean and /or dust things before they are shipped. They may not be perfect, but they certainly won't be filthy either.
