Sylvia Clarke Hamilton has been an artist all of her life.  She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting and Drawing at the Kansas City Art Institute with Peter Bohan Award for Drawing at graduation.  Today colored pencil and ink drawings are her primary means of expression.  She also paints in watercolor and oils and sometime combine mediums.  Sylvia's artwork has been shown in seven states.  Her drawings were in ART MAUI 1986,1987,1989,1991 and 1992.  Sylvia's work is in the collection of the Oakland Art Museum, and private collections throughout the United States, Australla, Canada, Germany, Honduras, Japan, and Korea.  You may find her artwork in several galleries on Maui.
