This is a Late 19thC Turkey Red Childs Printed Handkerchief called Trundling Hoops. It measures 11" x 11 1/2" and dates to the late 1800's and is American. It has crisp bright color , crisp fabric and has never been laundered. There is age oxidation and staining to the fabric. There is great Victorian clothing on the depicted children, and please notice that there are stitched initials in the lower left corner ES.
