Silkenstone Store

There's just something about my collection of birch bark animals that I absolutely love. Each piece of birch bark-over-wood is rustic, folk artsy, and handcrafted, with a nice substantial feel to it. Yet at the same time the light layers of birch bark in the form of feathers, fur or fins have a fragile quality that lends such charming details.

This fish is adorable at 18 inches long and 6 inches high and fits right in with your other primitives and Americana.
