IT IS PAINTED BLACK INSIDE -- WHICH THREW ME OFF AT FIRST, BUT ON ONE OF THE PIECES SOME OF THE PAINT CHIPPED OFF TO REVEAL REDDISH-BROWN CLAY.STILL LOVELY AS A SOUTHWESTERN FOLK ART PIECE. HOLE IN THE BOTTOM, PRESUMABLY FOR WATER DRAINAGE IF USED AS A PLANTER. 7 1/2" H. 8 1/4" TOP DIA. SOME AREAS OF PAINT RUBBING, A COUPLE OF DIVITS IN SIDES. HEAVY POTTERY. VERY GOOD CONDITION.
