NORTH CAROLINA FOLK ARTIST J. CHENEY painted this scene for an exhibit in Lake Forest , Ill. She had fun imagining the 19th century scene with family and friends gathered to quilt and drink coffee and tea,  under  the ancestral gaze of  family portraits.  She couldn't resist including her rat terrier Louie, who appears of many of her paintings. It now hangs in the sewing room of a very talented North Shore needleworker.

The artist has made digital laser prints from the painting and will sign and date one for you when you purchase it. The overall size of the heavy stock is 11" X 14".
