was inspired by summer vacations on several New England islands where
windmills are still a picturesque part of the landscape.
And look! There are two of the artist's favorite dogs--Louie the Rat Terrier and Libby the Lab. And up in the windmill window there's her cat Rusty. These characters often appear in the paintings of J. Cheney.
