Precious Vintage Color Engraving Americana Series for L. Bamberger & Co. Title: 'Ichabod' in Wonderful Vintage Saffron Velvet Frame
This is a wonderful item, an estate purchase many years ago which I have hesitated to part with. A vintage colored engraving of a child in period clothing in a wonderful saffron colored velvet frame, I have included photos of the back with the original paperwork which indicates that this is a hand tinted colored engraving which was styled and framed for L. Bamberger & Co., Newark, N.J. and which is 'Americana Series' and titled 'Icabod' and yes, the child looks like 'Ichabod'. It is in extremely good condition, a wonderful decorator item, with its original glass, neither engraving or frame have any issues. Overall, the item is 6-1/2" square, frame is actually 1-3/4" wide. Priority shipping 3 lbs. from zipcode 13204. Please note: I do offer combined shipping on multiple purchases to save on shipping costs, should you purchase more than one item, please wait for my combined invoice prior to making payment.
Please take the time to read all terms and conditions of my listing and ask questions if necessary.

I accept payment through PayPal. Payment is requested and appreciated within 7 days of the end of the auction. I also request that my invoices be acknowledged within 3 days of the end of auction. Please NOTE: The items that I sell are antique and vintage and as such, are not perfect except for the occasion of a boxed, sealed, item. For that reason, I DO NOT issue refunds. Between the inevitable difference of standards from one collector/user to the next and the proliferation of young bidders who do not understand the nature of vintage and antique items, it is necessary for me to state my policy in this regard. Please be sure that any questions or concerns you may have about condition, etc. are addressed through the question for seller feature prior to placing a bid. Thank you very much.
PLEASE NOTE VERY SPECIFIC AND DETAILED SHIPPING TERMS IN MY LISTINGS WHICH DESCRIBE IN DETAIL MY ONCE A WEEK SHIPPING POLICY IN ORDER THAT IF THIS POLICY CAUSES YOU CONCERN, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DECIDE WHETHER YOU WANT TO BID ON MY ITEMS. THANK YOU.
Most shipping is done through the U.S. Postal Service, occasionally, in the event of a large package, shipment will be done through UPS. In the case of larger items, I will sometimes include a professional packing fee which is a charge paid to the professional packer to more quickly and safely get a large item to you. I charge actual shipping only, no handling fees. The delivery confirmation fee of either $.65 (cents) for Priority Mail or $.75 (cents) for first class mail is not a handling charge, it is required for confirmation of delivery. PLEASE NOTE: I value my customers exceedingly and appreciate your purchases. However, I do wish to point out that I am not the fastest shipper. I do ship only once a week due to family obligations but, your item may not be received by you within exactly 7 days. My value, as my local peers will confirm, is my ability to search attics, basements, estate and tag sales and the nether regions of thrift and other shops for the items I love and love to offer to my buyers. If you cannot live with perhaps slower shipping than you would like, with all due respect to you all, please do not bid on my item. You will be disappointed or upset and I do not need negative feedback because you did not receive your item precisely when you felt you should. I have 12 grandchildren, and all of the problems of the daily life of a big family. If one of those grandchildren becomes ill, there is a chance that gramma will be babysitting without warning. I support myself by selling on ebay and do very much appreciate your purchases. However, if I have planned to be packing on a particular day and an elderly lady calls me to tell me she's cleaning out her attic and would I like to come take a look, the shipping will be postponed until the next day. If you can't live with that, please do not bid on my items because I do not want you to be disappointed. Also, if you DO need an item to be shipped immediately because it's intended to be a gift or for some other reason, don't be afraid to ask me if that can be done. Thanks so much.
Insurance will be required on any item I feel needs insurance protection.
