Great folk art piece of a jockey and horse. Age unknown. It is crafted with wood, real leather strips for the harness and bristles for the horse mane and tail.
Condition is good or better. The leather harness is split in two places as shown. Reattaching the strap to the screw is possible with the right type of repair. The jockey is movable, and the horse and jockey move when the strings are pulled.
The tail has some bristles that are bent or curved The paint and stain is still strong, very light wear. Easy to hang, and a great piece.
Measures up to 17 inches wide, depending upon the extension of the legs, and about 13 high.
