Deep among the gnarled lichen covered roots of a weathered willow tree is a small moss covered door. Here can be found all kinds of lichen wares. From tea to liniments and from peaked fairy hats to tiny fairy backpacks. Soft lichen sandals and pretty woven baskets too. The provider of all these magical goods has left her gathering basket by the window for another collecting trip.

ACEO art card, 3.5" x 2.5". This image was created from one of my photographs of a knothole in a tree, where I believe a fairy lives. I then draw and paint the details on the photograph with a digital pen. I enhance what I perceive to be the door and then add other accessories such as the broom and lantern. The story is printed in fairy script and included with the artwork.
