The
image you are viewing is an ink sketch straight from the
subconscious pit of Mondoexpressionism. These are quick stream-of-
consciousness drawings which can loosley be compared to the "Art
Brut" or "Outsider Art" style of drawing. The artist frees her
mind of nearly all cultural constraints and draws an image which is
raw, untainted, and unrestrained.
Greetings! I have a wild, wild imagination and I love to paint.
Inspired by the symbolic splattering of small children, I enjoy the
freedom of expressing my experience directly without mediation from
markets or culture. I hold a BFA in printmaking and Art History (I
am self-taught in painting) as well as a MsEd in Art Education.
Financially, I support myself by teaching Art full time, grades K-
6, in the public school system and have been doing so for many
years. My paintings have been shown in galleries primarily in CT,
NYC, and Mass, although presently I am representing myself on the
Internet. My work is in the collections of a few daring people
