This original Chinese watercolor painting measures 20 by 42 inches (ink and watercolor painting only) and 24 by 71 inches, including the brocaded scroll it is mounted on.
It has the seal and signature of the artist, along with one or two additional seals which may be collector's seals.
The subject is a classic Chinese motif which includes people walking across bridges in a small village situated in an extensive mountain and waterfall landscape. There is also a temple on the highest point of the mountain which is likely their destination.
It dates from the late 20th Century. It is in excellent condition.
