This beautiful oil on board is a pieceful, serene Hungarian Village scene by the hand of a listed Hungarian artist Kamill(o) Kolozsvary (1936). Kolozsvary comes from a family of artists - his father was the famous Hungarian painter Endre Kolozsvary and his mother was an industrial artist in Hungary. Kamill's talent revealed itself very early -he already participated in an art show at the National Sallon in Budapest at the age of 16. He is also known as a remarkable graphic artist.
This wonderful oil on board depicts his favorite subject - horses preparing to gallop in the Great Hungarian Plain, done as always in the most professional, beautiful manner. The image measures 14" x 16", 18" x 20" in an elegant, gold-accented, perfectly complimenting the piece frame. The piece is in good condition.
