Description: This is an original new work of art by William McLane. We have had so much rain this season in Northern New Mexico that waterways which would normally be dry this time of the year are flowing like it's early Spring. This is a view of the Rio Nambe from a recent back country hike we took high into the Pecos Wilderness. This piece really has a nice depth and is very naturalistic and peaceful. Hope you enjoy. This original impressionist painting would make a great addition to your art collection in your home or office. This is a great opportunity to purchase work direct from a well known artist and avoid paying high gallery prices.

This piece is signed in the lower corner and has been varnished for a protective professional finish. Please remember colorance may vary slightly due to your individual monitor settings!

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Full-time Professional Artist

McLane's artwork is well known on the East Coast - particularly on the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard and Northern Maine. His work is also being heavily collected on the West coast in California and he has a gallery in Hawaii. Bill currently resides in Santa Fe, NM and travels frequently to the coast of California and back East to the islands to paint. He is a versatile, primarily self taught painter whose work always incorporates effective vibrant use of color, light and shadow as well as an excellent eye for composition.

The works of William McLane are highly collectible and hang in galleries and homes throughout the United States and abroad.
