Signed in the lower right corner, painting measures 20cm x 27cm (8" x 10½") matted and framed under glass.  (Frame is 37cm x 43cm - 14½" x 17")   There is a brief bio of Couturier, glued to the backing paper, as well as another bit of matt  board on which the painting title and artists name have been printed in pen.  Another reference to Philibert Leon Couturier here. 

Painting, frame and matt are all in good condition, just a hint of foxing here and there.  We are not experts in identification and evaluation of art, and are relying on the information on the back of the painting and our untrained eye for the representations in this ad.  We purchased it at an estate sale in which the painting had been a cherished possession of the family for many years.
