The Bromide Stained Print

Bromide staining is a unique photographic process that adds a painterly quality to the traditional photograph.  When working in the darkroom, I use a brush or sponge with exhausted chemistry to manipulate the black and white paper adding subtle hues of color to the image creating a one-of-a-kind as no two prints are alike.

SPECIAL NOTE TO COLLECTORS

Due to the shrinking industry of traditional photographic papers and supplies, some editions are smaller than listed in the catalog and website. Discontinued papers, Kodak, Agfa etc. are no longer available for purchase thus leaving some editions unfinished.  Every original image is a one-of-a-kind photograph.
  All prints are hand pulled by the artist.
