This cool shot of Jack DeJohnette was taken in 1985 at the Queen Mary Jazz festival in Long Beach California. Originally shot on film, the image has been scanned high rez and is printed on heavy duty archival watercolor paper one image at a time. The image is 10" wide printed on 8.5"x11" paper and signed in pencil. The image is sharp and full of color as it was taken around sunset with a mixture of stage lighting and late sunlight....
Check out Jack playing the cool Istanbuls, looks like his ride in the background is one of the first Turk cymbals, also a long time Sonor man, he has his beautiful Scandinavian Birch Sonor kit.
