You are looking at a beautiful reprint of SHIRLEY TEMPLE at Waikiki Beach in the Territory of HawaII, circa July 1935 (Hawaii became a state in 1959). The photograph depicts a young SHIRLEY TEMPLE at the height of her stardom career in Waikiki shaking hands with the local Hawaii beachboys. Shirley Temple is standing next to a wooden antique surfboard or pipo board (pre-foam Boogie Boards) inscribed with the words, "ALOHA Capt. Shirley." Shirley Temple is wearing a beachwear top that says, "WAIKIKI BEACH PATROL," "Q.C.C.," with a surfboard design on it.
This reprint is double matted in black matting. The matting is 8" x 10" and the whole ensemble is ready for framing.
