Up for auction is this WWI Picture of Woman in an Oval Tin frame. I purchased this, as well as many more Antique and Vintage items, at a once a year sale held at a Monastery here in Western Pennsylvania. So, please check out my other auctions in the days and the weeks ahead. The woman that checked me out said this was a popular thing to do in WWI and the Nun that was packaging my sales was in agreement.

I haven't run across these before, but the woman in the picture sure fits the era or time period. Let the pictures be your guide and I feel sure you won't be disappointed.
