Today's find was some awesome negatives!
Up for your consideration today are a number of negatives that appear to be from the same family. They were involved in the girlscouts, so there were a few girl scout outings, one on a ship, one to a park. There are kids, old cars, animals, Indians & an Indian village, a bear drinking a soda, a boardwalk pier with buildings on it (Summerlins Luncheonette & a sign that reads Walter Cowell & the Musical Maniacs) I don't know which coast this is on, however if you recognize it I'd love to find out! There is a car with a Suffolk Field emblem, people playing a baseball game, Mushroom Rock, boats & just about anything else you can imagine. One negative of a girl next to a doghouse had a sign on the doghouse that read the address: 1914 1/2 (the doggy's house is the 1/2) East 12th St., and one picture shows the house number of 1914 on the front door. By the palm trees seen in many of the pictures, I'm guessing that the family who's pictures these were lived either in California or Florida. I'm guessing Florida though, because there's also a pic that looks like it could be near the Everglades.
I am looking very forward to posting these slides over the next few days/weeks. Some will go into my store, some will have buy it now's and some will not. I'm just going to mix it up to see what works best so be sure to look at my auctions that are live, fixed price and store inventory all three!
I do not know anything about the Negatives except what I'm stating here and what's in the title but, if you think of a question for me, please feel free to ask!
To show you the pictures of these negatives that I've taken, I took a photograph of the negative against a lightbox, then used Paintshop Pro XI's negative image feature to show what the picture will look like once developed. If it has a flaw on the negative, you will see it in the picture I'm posting here I'm assuming.
As with all things that I post, I am letting the photographs I've taken of the Negatives do the talking for themselves. You know what you are looking for so I'll let you be their judge.
As always there is no reserve on my auctions and buyer pays only exact shipping costs.
