Miss Frances (Fran) Sides was a beauty queen from the early 1950's. Graduating from high school in 1951, she won several local beauty pagents including Miss Credit Union in 1952 and placed second in the 1953 Miss Nebraska contest. Her stats in the Miss Credit Union contest were: Height: 5'1", Weight" 109, Bust: 34, Waist: 24, Hips: 35. Miss Sides joined the Womens Air Force (WAF) and was assigned to the 22nd WAF Squadron. She was promoted in 1953 to A/1C.

This photo and the others of Miss Sides show the life of a true American Beauty.
