Nice Renaissance feel to this vintage print of an original oil paint titled "Don Manuel Osorio" by Goya. I used to think it was called Boy With Bird, however, thanks to an other ebayer who was kind enough to inform me of the title and artist -- this gorgeous print is now given an identity! Depicts a small boy of about four years old, wearing a red jump suite tied with a white satin sash. He is very Edwardian in his dress with ruffled sleeves and collar, and matching satin shoes with bows. He is holding a tether tied to a black and white ravens leg. The raven is holding a small blue card in it's beak that looks like a pass port or something of that nature. There is a name on the card, but I can not make it out. Next to the boy three cats intently watch the raven with wide yellow eyes. There is also a Victorian bird cage full of small black and white finch or similar birds. I wish I knew the title and painter, if anyone has any information please let me know.  I have had this print hanging framed in my home for nearly 15 years. It was already old when I bought it at an antique store in my area. The frame has come apart and I am selling just the print and will ship the cardboard backing it was framed with when I got it along with the print.  The cardboard backing is marked Happy-Vale Brand Tomatoes Packed For Emery Food Co. Chicago, USA. No. 2 1/2 Tins.  The brown paper covering the opposite side of the cardboard is very brittle and fragile. The colors of the print are nice and bright as it has been under a glass frame all these years. The size is 13 1/2 X 10" un-framed.
