This wonderful limited edition print titled "Evening Stand", is by world-renowned wildlife artist Michael Sieve.
The wood frame measures 26" x 35.25" and the visible area of the print is roughly 17.25" x 27". This is print number 139/950 and is pencil signed lower right by the artist. The print was conservation-framed by BOK in Arlington, VA, on 07/31/87 and has not been removed since. The frame is in good condition but does have some minor scuffs, scratches and nicks commensurate with its age.
I can ship this without the frame for a reduced charge. Please contact me for information prior to bidding if you want this shipped without the frame.
About the Artist
An avid sportsman and recognized wildlife and big game artist, Michael Sieve believes that the best wildlife art is inspired by actual experiences in the field. These real life experiences, coupled with extensive research on the natural history of the area and species, plus photographs and specimens where possible, enable an artist to create a successful painting which is both artistically interesting and naturally accurate. When not traveling in search of material, Michael resides in southeastern Minnesota's bluff country, a region blessed with stunning scenery and abundant wildlife where he can observe deer, coyotes, turkeys and grouse, all on a short walk from his front door.
