Alicia K. Drakiotes (1954 -) The Artist: Alicia K Geilenberg - Drakiotes was born in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1954. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communications 1987 from Keene State College, Keene, NH.   Her full time art career began in 2003 and she has multiple solo exhibitions ongoing as well as several series currently in progress. Drakiotes has earned awards for her recent works in both pastel and monotype mediums. This piece titled "Amidst the Lupines" is from a series which illustrates a poem written by the artist (2005) describing a mystical event centered around a local landmark. Many original pieces from this collection are in private collections throughout New England.

This piece is representative of her style and is synonymous to her most well-known works in its color choice.

There is no reserve on this auction. I have tried to include as much as possible in the photos.

History:

This is from the "2 Moons Over Monadnock" series currently ongoing. I sold a number of the series original works to date and very few are available in print form. You will receive this handsome print archivally mounted in a mat with acid free backing all ready to pop into an 11 x 14 inch frame.
