From a painting by Pierre-Joseph Redoute originally published in the 3-volume work Les Roses (The Roses; 1817-1824). This lovely book print was lithographically reproduced in Italy from the hand-colored edition in the rare manuscript collection of the Univeristy Library, Erlangen-Nuremberg. It is printed on heavy, high-quality ivory-colored stock. About 10 1/4 by 12 3/4 inches overall size.
