This is a fantastic set of 8 lithographs from the Victorian era, all vignettes of various animals or patriotic scenes, including a dog's head, an elephant ad for the Blue India Company, a symbolic statuette of Father Time, and an American Eagle on top of an American flag shield, holding a banner with "State Sovreignity National Union" written on it. The best one, in the third picture, is of lady liberty, holding a flag, poised between a burning building with fire fighters working on it and a ship amidst a tempestuous sea. See the images above for a better look, and also for the condition. Each of these ads has been pasted onto the same sheet of protective card paper to preserve its condition through decades of storage. The condition is as follows:
Very Good: They generally mostly clean, with sharp corners & usually good edges. One has two very little (less than one inch) tears in the top & bottom edge. The excess paste that is outside the prints themselves is corroding, which is responsible for that orange stuff you see near the lithographs in a couple of the pictures. That stuff is not on any of the prints themselves. Please look closely at the images for a better acount of the condition.
