Medium:
Original relief sculpture on top quality (6061-T651) aluminum plate
100% Hand made. Has an exstra small plate on the back with a hole on which it can be hung.


Description:
Nude female figure sculpted on a 0.25 inch thick solid (silver) aluminum plate. In the making of this piece four different types of sanders were used together with 4.5" angle grinder as well as a variety of dremel tools. Absolutely unique in every way!


Please note:
Due to the reflective quality of the steel, it is very challenging to photograph and the images does not do the original justice. Though certain areas might look dark, it is all solid silver metal.

Authenticity:
All artworks are original ‘one of a kind’ creations by me, Antoine de Villiers. (Besides my limited edition giclee prints, which are clearly stated) I sign my artworks with my first name on the front and paintings normally also with my full name on the back. My giclee prints are signed underneath the print. Certificates of authenticity are available at no extra cost. If you would like to have a certificate of authenticity, just include a note with your payment to let me know.


Shipping:
Domestic shipping, handling and insurance for this sculture will be $19.00
I am willing to ship worldwide and will try my very best to meet your needs in terms of shipping speed or preferred courier (though this may make a difference in shipping price).  Please contact me for if you require an additional shipping quote. I am willing to combine or discount combined shipping where possible.

USA payments: Paypal, Money Orders or Personal Checks. (Checks might need a clearing period of up to 2 weeks)
International payments: Paypal only.
Payment must be received within 5 days after end of auction.


Policy:
It is very important to me that all my customers are completely satisfied with every transaction. Therefore I offer a full refund (excluding delivery and packaging costs) if the artwork is returned to me in its original condition within 7 days of receipt. You are responsible for return shipping cost. If there is a problem of any kind please do not hesitate in contacting me and I will always work with you!

The Art:

'In my work I seek to complement the moments I encounter. I attempt to break life down into its visual essentials: light, dark, balance, movement, tone. In so doing perhaps I can reveal a new perspective. I enjoy capturing the essence of a moment, telling a story by diversity of color and pattern that eye and camera are unable to see.

I consider a painting complete when the emotion I am trying to express matches the thoughts in my mind. Often this process leaves me naked and feeling exceptionally vulnerable. If somebody, while looking at my artwork, gets that special feeling of something personal, I'm satisfied'


Exhibition history in short:

Antoine has been devoted to her art full time for over ten years. During this time she has been involved in over thirty solo and joined exhibitions in 15 different cities throughout the United Kingdom, United States, Poland as well as South Africa.
