You are bidding on a HAND MADE piece of art designed and created 100% by me. It is made out of 16 gauge steel. I really like this gauge as it has a nice feel to it, but does not make the item too heavy for hanging. In fact, you can easily hang this piece without finding a stud in the wall.

The piece is cut out of the steel, by hand, with a plasma cutter. I do not use any kind of automated machine to mass produce these! These are hand-made in my shop, one at a time! There will be slight differences between each one I make. I feel this makes each one a true orignal! I'm in several galleries throughout Oregon, one in Claifornia, and one in Texas.  I have been commissioned to make many custom ordered pieces. Each piece is signed and dated by me.  This is the perfect addition to your Nature/ Duck/ Ducks Unlimited styled home or room!

After cutting the piece out, I then grind it, bend it, heat-treat it (to produce beautiful browns, blues & purples), and finally I apply several coats of clear laquer to preserve & enhance the steel's natural shine.  You'll hardly believe how much this piece shines and shimmers as you walk past it, when there is any kind of light on it! 

This piece is intended for indoor hanging. It could be placed outdoors, but would finally end up rusting as Mother Nature always wins. I have been making metal art for over 5 years, and I can assure you, the pieces that are left indoors as they are intended to be, look the same as the day they left my shop! The picture does not do this piece justice. Metal is very hard to photograph. I assure you, you will not be disappointed with your purchase of this piece! This piece is aproximately 19 inches tall, 16 inches wide & sits about 3 inch off the wall.  It is very 3-dimensional to create a genuine look. Just look at the shadows it creates on the wall too!
