This figure will ship within 5 days of receiving payment! If my father does not have this design carved it takes him about 10 days to carve and finish the design and get it ready for shipping. The shipment will be coming directly from my Father's woodshop in Decorah, IA.

My father, Larry Lubbert and his wife Doris hand carve many different characters. They do a fantastic job carving characters and they love doing it. They attend craft shows all over the Midwest selling their hand-carved creations.

Doris painting the figures
Gnomes and Things is a husband and wife creation. Larry does most of the carving, but within the last two years, Doris has started carving pins and magnets.
The carvings are painted by Doris. She has the steady hand to put the final details on their carvings.
Larry and Doris have both retired from their regular jobs and are doing the woodcarving on a full time basis. In 2004, they built Gnomes and Things, a woodcarving workshop at their home in Decorah, IA. |
