This painting is an original impressionist landscape Art Card Edition Original, or ACEO. The miniature painting was done en plein air and alla prima, and shows a view of a path and old garden wall with climbing yellow Roses, infront of an old villa in the Provence region of France
The original painting is signed, and is oil on prepared mat board. The image measures 5 x 7 inches and is not framed. There is no reserve on this painting.
Lynne French is a contemporary artist who trained at Chouinard Art Institute, where she studied with both Millard Sheets and Phil Dike. She is collected throughout the United States in both private and public collections, has done extensive commercial work and numerous commission pieces.
