My art is an exploration of color and brushstrokes and the interaction of the two, utilizing complementary colors and triadic color schemes to evoke a particular mood. It is usually stylized, abstracted and presented in an emotional form through color and kinetic brushstrokes.. . I work predominately in oils and acrylics with a painting style that often utilizes impasto and assorted textured techniques. I tend to be a mostly Expressionistic artist creating art from a very personal introspective point of view and yet I most closely identify with the Fauve painters use of color and the Post Impressionists compositions, forms and brushstrokes..
