Created with small art prints, watercolor inks,
and India Ink on mat board.
"I come alone to the night gallery
when all of the people have gone.
I enjoy the portraits of women of old
whose faces someone else has drawn.
And roses descend from the night stars.
Roses rise up from the floor.
Here past and the present join hands with tomorrow
when others will walk through life's door."

This painting was done in stages...
First, I cut small vintage prints of women to fit into the space of my painting.
Next I sketched the composition in charcoal,
and then over-drew it in India ink.
Next, I painted the body of the work with watercolor inks
and finally, the details were added with India ink.
It took me about 4 hours to complete.
I have such a wonderful time making art,
and I just want to thank all of you for emailing me your comments,
and I thank you so much for your bids.

All of my paintings are initialed on the front,
and signed and dated on the back.
I also include a Certificate of Authenticity with each painting.
