This mattress is made with only the purest materials for a comfortable, supportive and healthful bed. There is a 4.5" support core of the finest grade A natural rubber at the center of this mattress. This core is then covered with a quilted outer which is a layer of thin organic cotton fabric, a thick layer of organic cotton batting, a thick layer of organically processed wool from organically raised sheep and a layer of premium European organic cotton fabric - the quality quilting prevents shifting. Organic cotton quilted with wool is used on the sides to prevent moisture. This mattress exceeds all the higher CA flame retardancy guidelines without a single chemical for your peace of mind. Fits all standard cribs and meets all CPSC standards.

The rubber in this mattress is processed in the natural Dunlop method. There are no chemicals, scents or fillers added. This mattress is entirely natural, organic and chemical free.

Wool acts as a natural flame retardant and offers profound breathable comfort. Natural rubber is flexible yet stable, for superior comfort and support. Like organic cotton and wool, rubber is absorbent and resilient, contributing to excellent heat and moisture regulation. It is resistant to moisture build-up, naturally antibacterial (mildew, molds, and bacteria simply cannot live in the natural rubber) and hypoallergenic. It is also resistant to dust mites, the single most common allergen. The unique resilience of natural rubber makes it an ideal choice for achieving superior comfort and rest, which little ones need so much of.

This mattress is 5.5-6" inches thick. It is free of chemical fumes and all things unnatural and potentially harmful to developing babies. Passes all safety regulations and CPSC guidelines.
