Shipping Method and Delivery Time
|
Books ship via US Postal Service Media Mail. I'm sorry, I cannot upgrade the shipping method. Media mail delivery time is anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks after ordering, but average time is 7-10 days. Please remember that I have no control over how fast the post office ships. If you haven't received your order, kindly wait at least two weeks from the order date before inquiring. Also keep in mind, holidays occurring within the shipping time frame will delay delivery by one additional day.

Shipping Restrictions - Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Military addresses, International orders.

Because I ship media mail, I only ship to the continental United States and military addresses (FPO, APO, etc). Shipping anywhere else by media mail would take considerably longer. If you live in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or outside the United States, I'm sorry, we cannot ship to you. If you have a non-US account, I can ship to a US address but you must email me beforehand so I can approve your payment.

All books are brand new retail versions. They are not remainders or book club editions (unless otherwise noted) and they come from smoke free environments. If the normal retail version includes a dust cover or extras such as a CD, it is included here too.

How do I take advantage of your shipping discount?
There are two ways to receive the shipping discount:
1) The easiest way is to place your order through eBay Express. In eBay Express your can place your books in a shopping cart and the shipping discount is automatically applied.
2) If you don't place your order through eBay Express, you first have to purchase each item individually and pay regular price on shipping. Then I will refund you the difference afterwards. However, you must contact me via email immediately before or after your orders and mention that you are placing multiple orders.

I haven't received my book. When will I receive it?
Estimated delivery time is anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks after ordering, depending on where you live. Media mail can sometimes take 3 weeks. Please be advised that I have no control over how fast the post office ships. If you haven't received your order, kindly wait at least two weeks from the order date before inquiring. I ordered from you and never heard from you. I emailed you...why haven't you written back?
My system automatically sends a confirmation email out with every order to the email address on your PayPal account. In addition, I ALWAYS respond to every inquiry within 24 hours of receiving them (usually sooner). If you are not hearing from me, please make sure the email address on your eBay and PayPal account is correct! I find that this is the most common cause of miscommunication. If your eBay or PayPal email address isn't current, I have no way of reaching you!
Another common problem may be my email replies are being blocked by your spam settings. If you think this is happening to you, you must relax the settings to let my email get through. Once you've done that, email me again and I'll gladly answer your question again!

What format is the book? Is it hardcover, softcover, etc?

I am buying a boxed set. Am I charged one regular flat shipping fee or am I charged shipping for each individual book?
You are charged one flat shipping fee for the entire boxed set. You are not charged shipping for each individual book.

How much to ship to (foreign country)? Do you ship internationally? Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or military addresses?

Yes! Just email me beforehand so I can approve your payment.

I would like to ship to a different address than what's on my PayPal account. Can I do this?
Yes. But you MUST put the address in the PayPal ship-to section. My system automatically prints shipping labels based on what's in the ship-to section. If you put the shipping address in the PayPal comments section, my system will not read it and it will ship to the address in the ship-to section. To add an address to your PayPal account, log in to PayPal and go to Profile/Street Address/Add and add the ship-to address as a gift address.

How much is shipping to zip code xxxxx?
On any listing, the shipping charge is the same no matter where it is going.

Where do you ship from?
I have several locations around the country from which I ship from, depending on the item and the ship-to address. Generally, though, I ship from the west coast.

Can you upgrade the shipping method?
No, sorry, I only ship media mail.

Do you offer insurance?
No. You don't need insurance...if anything goes wrong with the order, I will take care of it!

You don't mention the specifics of the book. What is the book about?
The "Additional Information" section of the listing describes the book further. If there is not enough information there, I suggest you use an online retailer such as Amazon to learn more about the book.

Why is the price of your book different than it was yesterday? Or even a few hours or minutes ago?
My supplier's prices change frequently and I must update my prices accordingly. My system automatically updates my prices as my supplier's prices change. My prices are subject to change without notice.

Do you still have this book in stock?
If the listing is still active then, yes, it's still in stock!

Do you also have (name of another book)?
If you are interested in another book I don't have listed, please email me and I can add it for you! If possible, specify hardcover or softcover, and the ISBN number if you know it.

Is this a true first edition printing? What printing is it? Can you look inside the copyright page for a series of numbers and tell me what they are?
I'm sorry, we cannot check the printing edition for you. I am unable to guarantee what printing it is, or check what printing edition you may be receiving. The books are packed and shipped in new condition straight from the warehouse and are not opened or looked through.

No. Prices for individual items are final. However, I may be able to offer you a discount if you plan to make a large purchase. Email me for details. I will need to know what you are ordering and the state it is shipping to.

I received an extra book that I didn't order. Do I need to return it?
No. We sometimes receive smaller books as overstock. We send those out randomly to customers as free gifts. You aren't charged for them and you don't need to return them!
