Center Image Soft is a special effects filter that has a sharp-focused center with the surrounding area shades out of focus.
The clear central portion of the image would be surrounded by imaginative, dreamy, multicolored environment. You can use it with different levels of intensity. Those roses on the right illustrate the light application and show how the filter works. BUT…As you see on the photo below, the filter is much more than pure blurring of the edges, it does move color and light around. The yellow glow there is NOT blurred flowers but balloons of the dominant colors of the image.

A common and a fun filter for nature and portrait photography,
it is used for both film and digital cameras.
I have been often asked why there is a need of filters for digital photography if one can edit the image in Photoshop. I always point out in response the difference between editing and creating an image in Photoshop. You can create from scratch but it has nothing to do with photography, it's painting, a very respected art but a different one from the magic of pressing that button. At the same time, in order to edit you need a high quality source, data image. Some of the filters are needed to increase the quality of the image, like star filters I sell, ( CPL, UV, Rotating Star filers ); creative filters provide diverse tools of changing the source image without loosing its quality. The magic of how glass works with the image as a whole cannot be replaced by editing.
I charge only one shipping and handling in the US regardless of the number of units purchased. Internationally each additional smaller item like this is just $2 extra. However, THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL ITEM FEE IF YOU SELECT PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL. I combine shipping across several different kinds of photo-related equipment; however, you have to make one payment for all items in order to take advantage of this. It usually means you have to wait for me to send you an invoice. I reserve the right to split very large orders in several shipments.

Though I am not an expert in filter manufacturing, here is a quote from my correspondence with Sonia, the manufacturer, that translates in the quality of the filter, “There are at least fifteen manufacturers in India who are manufacturing Camera Accessories but we are the oldest (Established 1967) & largest with a share of more than 60% in the domestic market. I am not sure that at what prices they are marketing their products but one thing which I am sure of is that most of their products do not match the international standards at all. For Instance - You can take the case of "Close Up Lenses". Any Close Up Lens manufactured in the world is made on Miniscus Base (-2) but all the manufacturers in India, except us, are manufacturing the Close Up Lenses on Neutral Base (0) & moreover they are manually edging the Lens which totally spoils the Optical Center of the Lens.”
I would replace the product free of charge within 45 days after the end of the auction if you send me a defective piece back. Furthermore, I just want you to be satisfied, and if you for any reason decide that you do not like the product and return it to me in “as new” condition within 45 days after the auction end, I will issue a refund for the full amount minus $2.50 – headache fee, that covers my listing and selling expenses. There are people in this world who are never satisfied, and my headache fee is an attempt to prevent them from enjoying their personality disorder at the expense of serious buyers.
