THIS UNIT ORIGINALLY Runs ON THE WINDOWS MOBILE 2003SE OPERATING SYSTEM - NOW IT CAN BE UPGRADED (WM6.1 OS CD included in this pkg) TO THE LATEST, FASTEST AND BEST OF ALL WINDOWS MOBILE 6.1 (just released FEB 2008).

NOTE: May need to upgrade to WM5.0 first since the WM 6.1 is the upgrade of WM5.0. (both upgrade CD's are included).

READ instructions thoroughly prior to making any upgrades or modifications to this unit. MODIFY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I find the original WM2003 SE to be working just as good as the new faster and latest version WM6.1 OS. I DO NOT recommend WM5.0.
