Gunne Sax Party Dress Sewing Pattern Girls 8 Uncut BB

This item is the Simplicity sewing pattern #8985 shown here. The pattern was copyright in 1989. The design is by Jessica McClintock for Gunne Sax.

The pattern is uncut, unused and still in factory folds. The instructions are in the envelope.

The pattern is a Girls' Size 8:  Chest 27"; Waist 23½: Hip 28".

The pattern description reads as follows:  "Girls' Dress in two Lengths:  Dress with sweetheart neckline and full skirt gathered to princess seamed bodice at shaped waistline seam has attached crinoline. Views 1 and 2 are knee length. View 1 has double armhole ruffles and self fabric roses. View 2 with short elasticized sleeves has purchased rosette. Ankle length View 3 has short sleeves gathered to self fabric bias band and self fabric roses."
