All of the hardwood moulding, accents, blocks, flooring, and wainscot paneling we sell have been manufactured under the highest standards of quality in the industry and can be found at the top of professional contractor's lists as well as in some of the finest homes in the country. However, not every piece of moulding that comes off the manufacturing line meets these stringent standards of quality. Only the absolute best products make it to retail shelves. The remainder span a wide range of quality from unusable up to what are called "second-quality". These are pieces that are just second to retail-grade. Our "second-quality" products have been hand sorted and graded to ensure that each piece is useable and 85% clear of defects. If a piece meets these criteria, it is resold. If it does not, it is recycled.
