is made for replacing antique chair covers or for the construction of reproduction or newly-designed chairs. Its surface is textured and in a Victorian pattern, a vase with a leafed rose at the center, swirled bouquets or cornucopia shapes of bouquets at each side, swirl leaf patterns at the corners. Around this is a shell design border and beyond that a rayed and beaded pattern. The material is a compressed composition cardboard, it seems. Beige or sand-brown, the cover measures 15" square.
Never used, this cover does have handling wear - slight soil at the top edge, very possibly cleanable. Corners are slightly bent.
