This set is built entirely from solid Quartersawn White Oak and features a 48 inch round dining table with a thick 5/4 top, through tennons and double arched stretchers. Chairs feature the attractive v-back design with five back slats, shaped back legs and a genuine hand rubbed leather seat. Table is 30 inches high, chairs are 36 inches high with an 18 inch square seat. Note the pictures show a custom seat that was 20 inches deep. I am happy to customize this set to suit any and all of your needs including material, size, arm chairs, stain options etc...e-mail me with any questions. Made from solid Quartersawn White Oak, this set was handmade in Southern Vermont and every bit of the process was done by myself. I am an experienced craftsman with a passion for the beauty and simplicity of Mission furniture. Top is fastened using table irons which allow for proper movement without cracking with age.Table is constructed using traditional mortise and tennon joints. Over time I have perfected my own unique finish process to provide amazing depth and clarity and durable protection for years to come. You will be buying a piece of furniture that took many hours to handcraft with every attention to detail. Please realize that these photos are of one of my finished products - the table that you purchase will not have the exact same grain - each table has it's own unique qualities and characteristics.
