This is an awesome collectible. Card is embossed. A vintage Easter Postcard sent in 1908 to Canada. Item was sent to Master Duke Mitchell, 1039 City Hall Avenue, Montreal P.2. Canada spelled Caanada. Made b Tuck's Post card Carte Postale. Raphael Truck & Sons "Easter Post Cards" Series No. 111. Art Publishers to their Majesties & Queen. Printed in Saxony by appointment. At bottom is does have the number 9-78 which may have been the year it was collect as it is in pencil and the rest is in ink with Old English type witting. On back has one cent stamp Franklin Roosevelt. United States of America. Has very small nick about 1/8" on back where it does not detract form the post card. There is also a 1908 in pencil which also could have been a confirmation by the buyer as to the date of the item. Front is beautiful. vintage looking outfit on small child. Looks like young boy or girl? Surrounded by Chickens and the child has 2 baby chicks in apron. Absolutely adorable. There is no postmark across stamp so this could be a wonderful collectible in both manners. Stamps and postcards. Postcard is approx. 5" x 3" and is in very good condition for its age. Says Loving Easter Greetings. This very well may have been a very rare post card I have no idea. I tried to look up some info but found none. I always expect my buyers to know more about what they are getting than myself when it comes to something I have little knowledge. That is how I learn. If you have any tips for me on this item or questions do not hesitate to email us.Front of card has small spot on left side where it looks like there may have been a small black stamp possibly artist name. It looks a bit like lettering. The small smudge goes up the left hand side of the card till about an inch to the top. This is all very minor but I like to make sure to describe used items as much as possible. It actually looks like it is in very good condition. A couple of dings on corner and one corner bend on top left and a tiny one on corner bottom right. None of this takes away from the overall beauty or the awesome painting/design on front.
