Lot of 10 of the same vintage folder Christmas cards featuring three Santas carrying candles on their backs. Verse inside: Merry Christmas and Best Wishes For The New Year. Cards are 4x5" and are unused. Only maker's mark is X-204 on the bottom back. These come with their envelopes, but the flaps have stuck to the envelope--not sure if a hairdryer would work to soften the glue so you can open and use the envelopes, but it would be worth a try. At present the flaps are securely glued in place. Cards and envelopes have age bronzing. Not sure on the date of these, but my guess is 1940s-50s. I grew up in the late 50s-60s and these aren't the sort of card that I remember. If you're going retro this Christmas, these would be great to send to those special people on your Christmas card list. I have some other vintage Christmas cards on eBay this week, so please have a look. I do combine postage, but must charge a handling fee for each additional item added to the package to help defray expenses.
